// whatever happened to the Two Friends label? ///

Superb label, but unfortunately I can't find anything from them (same situation with 2B label too - M Benett was owner?) in good listenable format. I have cassette with killer 2 Friends selection.. tunes like Daddy Lizard 'Show Dem the Way', Shabba 'Bridges Instead', Prince Midas 'Stop you've got the Power' (2B)

"young lover" original version done for Jammys.

"zeeks" combination with louie culture.

"heathen" cover of bob marley song for digital b.

"moving on" again for digital b

"make hey" old school thing nice.

"flag flown high" in combination with shabba on the kette drum or the solo cut.

"lost my sonia" on volcano

whatever that song is, "instead of hangin/ (hangin on the corner)
"im gonna be chillin/ (with my daughter)"

plenty more I'm sure not coming to mind right now....wicked artist from long longtime would be a nice compilation!

Nice selection BMC! Pretty much that whole Israel's King album is worthy of inclusion in a "best of" compilation, and one of the albums that really opened me up to new reggae. Feel the Power (also an Xterminator production) was a great album as well with standout cuts like the title track, Who, Sinners Surrender, Sweet Life etc...

I think "Wanted" and "I'm Going Home" off of his "Rocking Dolly" album are killers, as are "Grow U Locks" (Tony Rebel cut is even better) and "Africa Here I Come" for Xterminator.

King Rathid, who did Shinehead cover Billie Jean for, and is it on any album? I did a search on the web and couldn't find anything . . . you sure you're not thinking of the Shinehead cut?
What about the half that's never been told?
