nice show on Wednesday at jazz cafe, although I think the sound engineer will have got his ears chewed by Watty afterwards, sound was pretty awful. always the professionals the Congos carried on finishing with acapella of humanity.

Saw them in Brighton on Thursday- great set, though Cedric seemed to be struggling with the top notes near the beginning. Watty was worth the ticket price alone though- great performance of Rainy Night in Portland

Amazing to see how far the congos have travelled, such an inspiration. Cedric was clearly not too well on the day as anyone who has seen him live before will be able to tell from this performance but these guys tour daily from country to country, hundreds of miles each day for months on end then have to perform after that long drive, such a hard life on the road and they are not so young these days. I have the greatest respect for Congos and Jamaica should recognize their finest Reggae and cultural ambassadors more.
