Well ... some argue that reggae comes from the word streggae. And the meaning of streggae makes the connection quite clear :wink:

well, then Dean Frazer or his "art director" must be one hell of a smart guy because afaik hardly any other reggae artist has made that connection and utilized it for an album design..and what about us "stupid customers"? ;-)

my personal opinion: use a naked woman on the cover and hopefully get attention of (male) buyers

Very easy to answer that one... its sexy, horns give off a sexy sound, reggae is steeped in songs about sex/women/relationships, and Dean Fraser is the man creating the vibes.

There's the Barry Brown album that also has a great cover with a scantily clad lass on it, draped in green.... See how i remembered that one... :shock:

I just remembered which is the worst one!!!! This album by Enos seriously has one of the most chocking covers I've seen!
