do you have wayne palmer records?

Postby southlondonstephen » Wed Dec 27, 2006 2:46 pm

Wayne Palmer's wife has been in touch with me looking for recordings of his work. I'm helping her out with four tapes I have him on (sturmars), but she believes he was well recorded although I don't have any of his records I don't think. I told her I'd ask around with a mind to compiling a cd for them. what do we think? anyone have any of his songs anywhere?
cheers

thanks for the reply. yes. what his wife wants to do is to get hold of his recordings so I guess what we're hoping for with this thread is that people wouldn't mind putting their records of his to cd or tape and sending them to me (I can recipricate the favour), or upload them for me to download. would be good if I can get a cds worth together for them. Like alot of artists he has no recordings of his own work. She didn't want me to discuss his current situation I'm afraid- not up to much though.
Be great if anyone can help
cheers

I can offer his "Nuh Remember" and "Champion Bubbler," from the first and second Redman International LP's respectively. I can send them by CD or (preferably) by losslessly-compressed audio file; I hope that, for the benefit of fellow fans, others will do the same if possible so that any reissue that materializes from these will have decent sound quality . . .
What about the half that's never been told?

thats very kind of you Redman and Fish. any how I get the tunes is fine. what I'll do when they stop coming in is list them and again ask if anyone has anything different, then I'll make a cd of them and zip it and upload it here for everyone here to reap the rewards of our efforts. I can't imagine it'll lead to an official compilation of his work, the way Mrs Palmer put it to me was that they didn't have any recordings of his work, but would like to.

I have all Wayne Palmer's 7" releases on Firehouse and Waterhouse.

I'd be happy to assist in helping Wayne Palmer, whom I view as an extremely talented singjay, and his wife.
