I rather like The Bug's material. What other artists do similar work to The Bug?

Dave

PS I heard that Keith Levene was getting involved with a new Bug project - is this true?

Idon't know if there is anyone else in a similar vein - but I like what I've heard from the Bug..
I saw 2 gigs here in Holland,
One was a pretty big show in Eindhoven on a Rephlex label pkg tour and the Bug ROCKED the place , it was great...with a live MC too..

I think Keith Levene performed at a show by the Bug in London last year, and have also heard that they are working together. I don't have any more details than that though.

Kevin told me that they were considering working together, but I don't know if it has actually happened. He (Kevin) has been doing a lot of work with Mark Stewart though, which is about as exciting as it gets in my book. :)

Check the members past projects - Godflesh & Head Of David for more guitar oriented stuff, God for some heavy tribal jazz & Scorn for dubby industro ambient.
Also in the same vein are NYC Illbient artists - DJ Spooky, Sub Dub, We, Badawi & the Asphodel label.

well I loved the Warrior Queen / Bug single that was out recently. The Kid 606 / Wayne Lonesome track was decent as well. I included both on my recent Jungle(ish) compilation

Side One

The Bug ft Warrior Queen – Aktion Park
Kid 606 – Buckle Up
Photek – Smoke Rings
Shitmat – Rudeboy Babylon
Remarc – Soundmurderer
The Bug ft Daddy Freddy – Run the place red
Goldie – Saint Angel
Sonik Gurus – Aa Tayar Hoja
Lil Sach ft Rowdy Brown – Naina
We – 12 Daiblos

Side Two

Christoph de Babalen – Residuum
Alec Empire – We all die
Milanese – Iacon
Truth – Excellance is thy name
J Maik – Arabian Nights
Optical – Swift Glide
Loop B – Chegando de la
Pyschokenisis – Secert Place

I think it must be - Razor X is/was a 7" label which Rootsman did featuring his collaborations with Kevin. Excellent stuff...

I should probably mention the interview I did with him here as well:
