Anyone who has the three Sugar Minott LP's on Studio 1 will have a large amount of this already.

There are 7 or 8 tracks from 'Live Loving', 2 or 3 from 'More Sugar' and 2 or 3 from 'Showcase'. A great introduction for beginners to Sugar's Studio 1 output for sure, but there is nothing new or obscure here to tempt the rest of us.

A great thing would have been a collection of singles (7"s and 12"s) in their original form, not the remixed versions from the albums... With some versions...

That applies for many other S1 artists which already have S1 albums: Willie Williams, Devon Russell, Johnny Osbourne, Jennifer Lara, The Ethiopian, etc.

You're right David - we don't know.
Still - many singles only tracks are not included.

Seems that the Soul Jazz folks don't like dub versions...

all of the Soul Jazz tracks i have already on Studio 1 releases have much improved sound, £10 for all these songs in crisp and clear quality is good enough for me to buy it
