In 2005 I wouldn't mind seeing the following:

Freddy McKay at Studio One
Johnny Osbourne at Studio One

Soul Jazz could do a nicely mastered job, chucking in some rare numbers not re-released by Heartbeat previously.

And how about Ranking Trevor?
Perenially neglected in the re-ish market. A nice collection of his Channel One toasts would be fine, fine, fine

reissue

Postby johnny » Fri Dec 24, 2004 2:37 pm

yeah, I think a Ranking Trevor reissue would be great-even better if its a collection of pre 45,s.or how about a Clint Eastwood compilation, or Trinitys -three piece suite. or even a collection of the old style disco 45,s-the song followed by a toast or dub version,Tamlins compilation would be good.
or a collection of hard to find 45-Gideon Jah Ruball-Love Rasta..
:D . Or a collection of Specials/dubplates..the list is endless
