So as I understand it, some dancehall artists and fans think male on female oral sex is in some unspecified way unclean. What the hell is wrong with them?

Do they also refuse female on male oral sex? The mind boggles. And if they don't, what a bunch of sexist hypocrites.

Don't be ignorant FTA. The attitude towards oral sex is quite widespread in JA and would definitely reflect views held by many older "roots" artists as well.

The defining song concerning this would be Heads High by Mr Vegas of course.

What do you mean by "Homophobe artists" ones who have recorded stupid lyrics or the ones that agree with them? The reason I ask is that sometimes people think that it's only the 8 artists that Outrage go on about that thinksuch things. This is total BS of course as most old time artists have exactly the same views, I remember reading an article about Barrington L*** circa 1980 where he talked about such things for starters.

I pulled you up as I don't think there can be any justification for calling for anyone to be raped ever.

sorry that i sound the way i do but im kinda embarrassed/annoyed that these artists (people with LPs called "my crew my dawgz", sizzla,..etc.) belong in the same category as the music i love.

Agree with you 100% there, tim! No things to joke about.

In fact I agree with the vast majority of your points on this issue (the homophobic lyrics etc), tim.

I once had the 'pleasure' of hearing Ijahman Levy pontificate on gays at a concert in Holland...cringeworthy.
