Yes Dots, very nice 7". I have that one too (cannot remember who's on the flip - try to check tonight when I am back home). Did you check Sugar Minott's Never Gonna Give Jah Up on the same riddim? Wicked!

There's a wicked Johnny Osbourne cut too "Long Long Time".

It's been a long long long long time I man nah hear no good sound a play inna dancehall.

They're specials for a sound(or a selector) called Jah Marcus.

Speaking of Jah Marcus: Is that a UK soundsystem?

I think so DG. The unknown artist is someone called G Vibes as Sugar gives a shout to the other artists at the start of his cut.

Yes,
Jah Marcus is a sound from London (north London, I think...). They played at Rodigan's club in Brixton couple of weeks ago. They played plenty of versions on this waiting in Wain riddim. I think they have full album of these tunes. Sounded quite nice, though it's not exactly my favorite riddim. I still prefer the one that came earlier on Jah Marcus label with Luciano, Mikey General & A.Tibbett cuts to it. Love that one...

G.Vibes is a UK singer. He has done some nice roots tunes and some with bit more lovers vibe. You can find those on New Faze and River Bank labels. ' Persecution' on River Bank is worth checking, if you are into modern roots...

Thanks for the info Olli, I'll keep an eye out for more Jah Marcus stuff. I'm enjoying these tunes immensely.
