I really dig that Treasure and Father Jungle Rock riddims, Dots!

Only two here today:

Wild Fire (Lionvibes)
Tenemant aka Tenemant Yard (Heights Of Heights)

Gave that Tenemant set a few spins over the weekend, Dots, but they never excited me as much as they did in the shop where I bought 'm (includes Elephant Man, Turbulence, Anthony Cruz, Jah Cure, Sizzla, Norris Man & Parrot). It's nice, but kinda slow and the deliveries throughout the tunes aren't as good as they could be from these guys. Just an average set in the end imo.

That Wild Fire set on the other hand is very nice imo! Nice, simple roots-riddim with lovely vocal deliveries from Turbulence, Ras Shiloh, Chrisinti, Ginjah and Luciano. As a bonus the version on the flips is a real dubbed version for a change and they're not all the same either (if I heard that correct)! Check 'm out if you haven't heard these yet!

i listened to the new hudson compilation (disc 2) on saturday
and these are my favorites:

Silver Platter - I Roy
Jah Lion Hungle - I Roy
Need Someone To Help me - Eric Clarke
Cynthia - Myrna Townsend All Stars

avoid all the hudson vocal tracks, this is my advice.

last track/version on this disc is really weak. seems to be one of hist
last productions .........

as it happens BMC me bredda King Rathid played out those 'Tenament Yards' last nite, nice but not essential and true the performances are unspectacular, the Jah Cure piece included.

will keep an ear out for the 'Wild Fire' set.
