anyone on here kno what monitors people like jammys, scorpio, old sounds used to use in 80s?

Hi,

I believe most common would have been Yamaha NS10.

As in most studios anywhere in the world.

Pretty much everything said about these speakers...

i think some producers also used Auratone 5c Super Sound Cubes iv just read , crazy how good the music sounds from those days with relatively limited gear

Those are classics "reference" monitors, but i doubt they've been using them most of the time, as they don't produce deep low end...

Perhaps some big JBL ?
