Like everything else on Reggae Archives it is fully licensed straight from the artists :

My copy is on the way, hope it's not gonna be a big dissapointment...already fed up with bad sounding reissues :|

I beg to differ: the sound is very good.

Check out for yourselves

I take advantage of this thread to big up Bristol Archives Records to the maximum. They are doing an awesome job all around.

From Wiki:

"A bootleg recording is an audio or video recording of a performance that was not officially released by the artist or under other legal authority."

No idea whether there are sound issues with this release, but to call it a bootleg is nonsense.

Just received my copy - other than being a cheapo pressing (slightly off center & some crackle on the start & end) it sounds great. RA could have done a more hi-fi pressing for this one but for GBP 6 it's hard to complain.

Agree Skunkride- good record for that price.
And yes Dan-I, the B-side is even better. Serious bass!

It's not it's a self production. Sounds almost identical to John Peel session.

Hey...It sound great, and fully licensed. Cant explain your critics, Mr Critic. Show a little respect.

B side sounds a lot Steel Pulse to me. Great tune I didnt know.
