kalcidis wrote:Yeah. Very similar rhythms if not the same. I'm also under the impression they're the same. What rhythms are there on that one? I only know of these:

Junior Reid- Sinsemilla
Prince Alla - Devil Woman
Sammy Dread - Rub-A-Dub
Gregory Isaacs - If You See My Mary
Echo Minott - Give Me Your Love
Tony Junior (?) - Dancing Feet

Phillip Leo and CJ Lewis - why do fool fall in Love

Picked up a vinyl copy of the Massive 3 compilation from a charity shop this weekend and it took me right back. I bought it originally from a tiny record shop in Bourdeaux in 1990 (it was like going into someone's hallway). The track was playing and a dreadlocks skanking and I had to have it. I lost my original after lending it to someone and not getting it back.

Also on the album is Junior Tucker's Don't Test, which still sounds great and original - I hadn't heard for about 15 years. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ph2b8wgeWSM so two tunes of the day.

Tal Petrie - Don't Try Me (Earthquake Records 7")

Wicked obscure digi from the late 80's/early 90's. Dread vibe.
