Apart from the rimshot ( and the triangle)
I dislike those staccato piano and guitar chords playing all the time....like intermittently...'chang-a chang-a chang-a'...what the hell is that about?
And that organ underneath shuffling chords rhythmically...is rubbish too. The picking guitar is boring too...why is the guitarist following the bass? Unnecessary.
I also dislike effects: why putting over the top reverbs and delays to create an atmosphere...I don't get it.
I hate reggae basslines too: some guy playing a few notes, then leaving some space and finishing the bassline. I don't get it, they repeat that all the time like a loop, why?...and is so loud on the mix too.

Apart from these annoying things, I like everything else about Reggae.

What we call head top dub. I love this, the original drum and bass, clean your ears out! :D

Funny thread.

I forgot about double drumming....is boring and I hate it too....but not as much as triple drumming or quadruple drumming.

This really irks me, especially with a live band.

Second that

I have said elsewhere the one thing in reggae I dislike the most is flying cymbals

Outside of reggae I hate key changes

I don't like the rhythm guitar, you know the "chengy, chengy" sound on the offbeat.
I also don't like vocals, horns, keyboards or any form of drumming, including bongos.
I especially hate the bass line which is so repetitive.
