Milton Henry CD problem

Postby j j » Mon Nov 11, 2013 5:13 am

Just wondering if anybody else is having problems playing the last 2 tracks on his Branches & Leaves CD?
My copy jumps all over the place on the last 2 tracks only.

thanks

I'm sure that if you contact the company they probably could sort you out another copy for free if the one you have is faulty.

I need to buy the album. I wonder if the vinyl comes with download codes for mp3's?

was the faulty cd the only item shipped the first time around? if not, I don't suppose he should really refund the shipping cost.

if the faulty cd was the only item ordered, i'm pretty surprised he wouldn't refund shipping, or actually just ship you out a replacement. that is how he has always handled any ordering issues/faulty products on my end--he just sends another copy my way at no charge.

I've been ordering from ernie since he started out in his parent's basement, and have had very few problems in almost 2 decades of business with him. total class act, imo.

or maybe i'm misunderstanding...

did you actually send him back the faulty CD? he usually will not require that, so you're not out the additional shipping cost.
he's always sent me a new copy and told me not to bother sending him the faulty product. perhaps this is just because we have a great relationship that goes back so long.

Ok The faulty CD was part of a larger order. I notified EB that it was faulty & as usual offered to post the CD back if required. I got a reply saying they had refunded my credit card with the full cost of the cd, as shipping one item to NZ was too expensive.
Usually in the past EB's has sent me a replacement at no cost with my next order.

cheers

ps I have also been ordering from EB's since the days of his large book catalogs.
pps Fantastic album btw :D

hmmm, well I guess that it an equitable thing to do.

however, it seems like the right business thing to do, in the sense of customer service, is replace your CD with a physical copy, not simply deduct the charge from your bill.

I like your thinking minidub :) I have emailed EB's to see if he refunded any postage costs when he refunded my credit card ????? Surely that would be fair?

cheers

Here's EB's reply.

Hello,

Thank you for your email.

Refunding the postage is not included in our refund policy, sorry.

Best Regards,

Ernie

This seems a little unfair as they sold me a faulty product & there refund policy is not on his website (as far as I can see). :(
