Interesting. First time I hear he was took his name as a tribute to a local pharmacist. Speaking of DJ names Clint Eastwood said in an (Swedish) interview that he was the real Clint Eastwood because he was born in the ghetto. Can't fault that logic.

Chaplin got his name because he used to wear Charlie Chaplin (style) pants as a youth. The piece is meant to be comedic:

- Dylan got his name from a combination of his first name, and the last name was "inspired" by poet Dylan Thomas, not from a pharmacist
- Elton John's name was a combination of "Elton Dean" and "Long John Baldrey", it didn't come from cleaning "johns"
- Eminimem was not a "Cadbury heir", and he even has the trailer-park to prove it!

It's one of those pieces though that'll likely get taken seriously by some, and start appearing in books. The internet, a blessing and a curse! :)
