I remember ReggaeJam in Bersenbrück a few years ago, we where mourning over the weak Culture-show which took place in the rain that day; after a little while I did not pay much attention at all to the performance. Next day Joseph Hill passed away totally unexpected. That was shocking!
I also witnessed Albert Griffiths on his last European Tour. He gave 100% on stage, playing, singing and dancing for around 45 minutes with visibly bad health (took him quite a while to recover after the show), while the rest of the Gladiators played on for the whole concert for maybe 45 minutes more. Just to read next day in the local newspaper about his short and weak performance and general waste of money for shows like this.
I think everybody should be thankfull to get the chance to see the originators perform on stage still. Who cares about a weak show? If you do not consider worth going, just don't go. Everybody knows what to expect when he goes to see a veteran-artist.
Back to Scratch now: This man is a workaholic!!! Doing many projects still.
