Sad news. The productions with the sharpest sounding guitar chops in reggae.

Personal favourite is 'Problems' by Horace Andy.

Have been listening to the excellent Pressure Sounds compilation of his productions today. The music lives on.

Sad news. Santic productions have always been among my favourites.

Now, I have to ask - has this news been confirmed? It has happened more than once that a death has been reported here, and we discover that it's not true. I'm going to assume that the Dub Vendor crew are a reliable source.

Looks like Leonard's death has been confirmed by a reliable source. :(

Santic produced some of the most distinctive reggae ever. That "Far East" sound is amazing.

Santic's one drop version of Problems (if I remember correctly there's another one, a steppers version of this tune - but I don't remember who produced it) is superior.

I've got a decent collection of Santic singles, so I'm working on a tribute podcast. Soon come! 8)

Can anyone suggest some of his later, lover's rock productions from the UK? Not a fan of the genre, but would be curious to hear some of it.
