50 in 3 weeks and I feel recurring pains in my right knee, hip and thigh. Cant run, lift as much, cant see as well as before, etc...

Dont look at girls in the street the same way as before: I fcking could almost be their grandfather!!!

It's all good nonetheless.

Yes Guillame, I was thinking that us old timers should do what old folks do and start swapping stories about aches and pains and medications! Having turned 50 I had to get reading glasses for very small print and the cholesterol medication seems to be doing it's job properly (which I assume means I can still eat the odd fish and chips when the desire takes me).
I feel in great shape as I swim three times a week, cycle and walk but I do have arthritic pains.

There is a saying that says that after 50, if you don't feel some kind of pain when you wake up in the morning, that means you're dead...

Swapping stories about pains and meds, no freaking way. My only medicine is aspirin, so far...

43; got into reggae at 17 and have pretty much never tired of it. Maybe for a few months at a time from time to time, but rarely.

Some close peers here then, just turned 44 on the 9th and more of a music fiend than ever. Reggae also back into regular listening rotation the last year or so after something of a breather to explore other genres the last few years, feel like I'm rediscovering some incredible stuff...
