I predict this film will go down as a classic! seriously a very nice film and they need to finish it to get it released, you can help by either reserving a copy of the 2D or 3D dvd or in the other various ways listed, or just by sharing the URL on your social media sites so please do if you have time, it's a great film which tells the story of Bobs cousin who shares lost of info on Bobs childhood growing up with bob as a kid which is something no film has ever touched on before like this.
It's an independent film not made to make money but any profits wil go to re-building SLEDGER's house which blew down in the last hurricane so if your able to support or share the links please do.
Sledger also wrote some of Bob's songs but never got paid for them.... although he is not someone who has the resources to fight for these things.

This film has wonderful images of the Blue Mountains Ganja fields, 3D!!! It has a early 80's feel to the film similar to Land of Look behind and captures the spirit of one man like no other Jamaican film has.

41 days to go to get this funded..... Hope some of you can support if your able, even if just a $1 or a link share....

A minimum of $13k is needed to complete 3-D post-production and sound mixing and music licensing The music rights for several world-famous classics-- 23 songs in total-- need to be secured and the director is making sure that he pays for the songs! Many of these songs not only involve Sledger directly but are key to driving the narrative of the film, the soundtrack really adds to the film.
$7k is required to license, assemble and mix the soundtrack.
Another $6k is needed for 3D post production and finishing.

To answer your question...after 41 days the Kickstarter project ends, after which time the project either reaches it's target goal or doesn't, i think these projects are setup so that the money only leaves your account if the target is met by the closing date of the campaign which is why it's so important with the film makers to spread the word and get the help of supporters in this short time frame.

If the film hits it's target which we hope it will with the support of people reading posts like this one, just by sharing the kickstarter link is a BIG help.

If successful the film will be made available upon DVD, these are already available to pre-order on the kickstarter page in either 2D or 3D, Blu-Ray etc. and pre-ordering a limited edition dvd is a great way to help support the funding of this project.
The film will travel to various film festivals and if lucky enough end up on TV but it will certainly be available to the mass public via dvd and digital download.

This is Jamaica's first 3D film made by a professional 3D film maker, my personal aim is to help see this film funded and shown outdoors in one of London's big parks or festivals in 3D of course!! where everyone gets the glasses and gets a TRIP through the Blue Mountains like no other and through the Ganja fields.

It's a GREAT and unique film and tells the story one of the Marley family who never made his dreams come true but captures his thoughts an daily life so well. hopefully you'll all be able to see it soon enough....

Message me for large scale screening enquiries....
