Does anyone happen to know why he's cancelled the uK dates at such short notice? The concerts are still going ahead with Marcia G and Morgan Heritage and they are offering refunds but it still leaves a bad taste. Will almost definately still go but still feel a bit cheated. Hopefully Beres is ok, which is of course the most important thing.
Hope Beres is okay, there have been rumours about his health for a while now, but you can never be too sure in this day and age. Hopefully he'll be back over here soon, the man is a living legend.
Hasn't Beres cancelled several tours for the past couple of years, hence causing rumours about his health? Well, if there are any health issues, they certainly didn't show when he was here last August and delivered a stunning performance alongside his Harmony House Band. Probably one of the best live acts you can catch these days... Hope he will be back touring Europe soon. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-KpzV8A2duc http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3sDGpTTDsAg
thanks for the info everyone. I have seen Beres a couple of times before so know what a good show it would have been. Still, with Cornell Campbell and Max Romeo at the Lambeth County Show that afternoon, then Marcia and Morgan Heritage, it'll be a good day out.
I agree Steve, my first reaction was to get a refund. I felt cheated and didn't want to be a part of it. I wouldn't have bought a ticket just to see the other two. I was also going with someone who hasn't seen him before. Still, for the reasons above, am going to make a day of it.
I know its stupid to say but that never stopped me before: you folks should count your blessings: earl sixteen and max romeo for two, neither can get into the states evidently.
