he says he did 3 albums in total with b lee. Apparently Lee only considers what was done with him as legitimate..

he considers only these as legit:

im not sure that's the point of what he was trying to say. I think he was saying those were the only albums that he (tubbys) ever personally mixed or really had much of a musical hand in. all the others, bunny lee credited with producing or not, were someone else at the mixing desk, scientist or otherwise. plus there was one vocal album he mentioned too for a total of four.

so that I can believe, strange as it may sound that with all the "king tubbys" albums, those were the only ones he really contributed more than mixing lab space for. he was afterall much more on the technical end of things I think.

interesting point is that at one time Trojan issued a double record set called king tubbys special, compiled and notated by steve barrow. it was, from memory anyway, one complete previously released album plus one other record of various recordings tubbys had a hand in. anyone know what that original album was, was it one of the above mentioned three? somehow I thought It might be Roots of Dub but am to lazy to find that out myself.

Yeah, that's how I understood Bunny. I'm so bummed out that Tubbys "Prophecy of Dub" is a "fraud". It sounded so authentic, oh well! :P

what do the credits on prophesy of dub say by way of engineer or mixing engineer? just curious. I know what you mean with the inference that bunny lee considers anything not of his making a fraud, but I do understand he was probably the producer who worked closest with tubbys for most of the years, right?
