My two pennies worth. Masicka sounds like a decent enough artist but I don't think the merging of his vocal style with these old dubs really works, especially on the Pablo ones where his vocal's mixed too high and tends to reduce the riddims to an afterthought. Slightly more successful with the drum song cut. Full marks to whoever thought of trying this but the combination of vintage spiritual roots with autotuned nowadays style DJ'ing isn't doing it for my ears.....
