Did playground ever come out as an instrumental on vinyl? At the time I wanted to make DnB mixes over the top of it, but never found one...

the VP/Dancehall Classics 12" with Who Am I/Infiltrate has instrumentals following the vocal cuts. On the dubplate video I think Rodigan says "Don Yute" but his song on Playground doesn't seem to match up lyrically

pretty sure there was a riddim version of playground on vinyl (although I'd have to dig through my 7s to check) judging my various remixes of that riddim back in the late 90's.

Listened back to the Don Yute link I posted earlier and agree it may not match up lyrically to the Rodigan dub although he does say Don Yute in the clip

Big clash from back when dancehall riddims was still rocking hard... well, I trust it's Don Yute if Rodigan says so. You probably can't find the tune because it's a serious dubplate where the artist does more than just calling the name of the sound along with the released lyrics.

yeh totally...I would never doubt Rodigan on something so simple as naming the artist who voiced a special for him....

but i have checked out other Don Yute tunes (i'm not too familiar with his work)......and none of them sound anything like that Rodigan dubplate....i guess maybe he changed his flex a little?......i know the tune has been pitched up a touch in that clip, but still......

mystery....
