it's a stretch since it isn't even close to "cleansing", but do you mean vc "by his deeds":

sitting in your church on sunday
thinking who you're gonna screw monday
who you're gonna thief
who you're gonna rob
take it as me tell you
say you can't fool god, no

Yes this is the one... very much slower and different to what i heard, but its the tune i hear..
i have only heard this on Shaka's sound system so it's obviously going to sound different..

Bless up!

The 'world go down' tune sounds like Nuclear Weapon by Johnnie Clarke.

He always puts the deck speed up. A LOT.

which raises the question, do garrards have pitch control? thought they looked like the kind of deck that wouldn't..

it looks like the garrard uses a slider to change from 16 - 33 - 45 - 78 rpm

so shaka probably puts it somewhere between 45 and 78 when playing singles

shaka didn't used to get speeded up dubplates... seems unlikely at least!

Looking at this Youtube clip, there does seem to be some kind of pitch control on the 4HF (which i believe is the model Jah Shaka uses?)
