Just watched both chapter 1 and 2. Tough rhythm on the Inyaki and Sanchez! Dunno what to feel about the spanish vocals though :D

Nice to see Pablo Gad in chapter 2. And Singer Blue dressed all in blue.

You're too modest, Inyaki! At least for me personally it's always interesting to see how the studio work is done, especially when it's by people who have produced loads music that I really enjoy.

You seem to not be alone on not wanting to be filmed. Is Pablo Gad hiding behind some papers when you're Dougie is filming him or is it just looking like that? A fantastic artist. I'm guessing it's an active choice of his to not be interviewed? Otherwise I can't understand why this haven't happened. For me Pablo Gad is one of the most consistent reggae artists ever (even though he isn't the most prolific one after his slew of releases in the early 80's).

The song mixed in the first video is Radio Mundo's "No Vienen De Frente". It was a band from Andalucia (Spain) that released a CD (Desaprendiendo) some years ago.

This one is a videoclip of a song of that CD:

I dont like too much reggae with Spanish Lyrics, but this work had some good tunes.

Great information/link Truth Town. Eskerrik asko!

Love the vibes - even if I don't understand all the lyrics :oops: Got a real 70's feel, crucial horns and the mixing is superb.

Interesting to compare this band with the, er, quality of much modern 'reggae'.

One love

Tough rhythm! Please keep the clips coming. When are they recorded? The VHS-rip(?) makes it look like a late 90's recording.

It was a Roberto Sanchez production ( Radio Mundo is the band ) ...can't remember exactly...around 2003 I think.

Confirming the above, as I worked as Radio Mundo's live-engineer for the next 2 years after the album was released in early 2004.

The band always wanted me to make 'em sound like the studio-recording, ... I believe we did a good job;
it worked very well live, songs and long version-excursions in dub, pretty nice!

The band split around 2006 I think.
The album in question "Desaprendiendo" was cd only, 9 tunes + 5 dubs, recorded at Lone Ark Studio, mixed at Consious Sounds - Progressive Studio, Novembre 2003. If anybody wants a copy I could link. Send a PM. Dunno if there are any copies left though.
