Who is behind the Main Line represses?

Postby Apostle » Tue Mar 19, 2013 10:17 am

I saw a test press on Jah Waggy's of a repress of Debbie Rivers and Freddy Clarke tunes, both quite rare and wanted on the Main Line label. Bit of a downer first, because it took me ages to find a copy of the Debbie Rivers, but hey. Good music for more people and less money, can't oppose that.
Who's actually behind those Main Line represses? They did a 10" before (African Brothers-Gimme African Love and Robert Emanuel - You can't push I over on the flip), also remember a 12" with old dubs from Dougie Conscious and Ras Elroy...

Jah Bunny I would think as it is his label, no?

Nice to hear he is putting out the Freddy Clarke tune - long been looking for that one, but same old insane collectors prices.

This is great! Let's hope Jah Bunny continues to release those ridiculously tasty unreleased tracks he put out not too long ago (Jah Bunny meets Dougie Conscious Dub Chapter 1 12" and the Errol Mathis 12").

There's test presses available now. According to Wag the actual presses should come in over about four weeks.

Should be, Dubvendor also sold the previous Main Line reissues...Don't know about Honestjons to be honest.

Can you ask him if he's ever going to put compilations of those Jah Bunny & Ras Elroy meet Conscious Sounds EPs on CD or on iTunes, Dougie?
