Hehe, just listened to a clip. Love it when reggae does 80's pop tunes.

Vernon Maytone - Old Pan Sound....the self-produced 7" from 1988, not the modern cut.

Pure murderation.

Tom Uplifter-Flag so High (Uplifter 12")

Awesome tune. "Was I created for the grind, Was I created for the 9 to 5?" Anybody know this Uplifter fellow? Is there more tunes to come?

i agreed with you donovan, this tune is really awesome (not forgetting freedom chant on bside). before i got the record itself, i listened to the sample on jahwaggys countless time just to hear this line you quoted haha.
not sure who he is though ("young" producer from bristol?), but hoping for more to come too
Peace

Eric Donaldson-Penny Farthing (Serengeti 12")
Amazing tune, fantastic semi falsetto singing (of course coming from Eric D), wicked horns. Shame there is no dub despite the 12" format...
