DUB LP PRE I.D HELP...

Postby kingj » Wed Jul 04, 2012 1:06 pm

I have a pre release dub lp matrix: DSR 6354 H.CHINLOY SPIDERMAN.
It has popular tracks , early 80's probably 81...cut to declaration of rights is one of them.
Anyone know lp title?? sounds like a Germains deal possibly one of the blouse and skirt lps?
Thanks !

Chinloy makes me think it could be one of those very rare Music-ism dub LP's. Aquarius Dub vol. 2, 3, 4 or the dub version of Richie Macs Jah Is I Light album (this one is less likely though as I can't remember declaration of rights from the vocal version).

Not a muscian-ism lp Kalcidis...sounds a lot like a germain production, like a gussie thing, can hear some fragments of a group in backround....sounds early 80s gotta play it again to find more recognizable tracks,,,somebody must have this also.

Just for information, here are the tracks and some riddims from Richie Mac "Jah Is I Light" LP (Herman Chin-Loy prod.) :

1. A Little Bit Of Everything --- Feeling Soul
2. Nice Time --- Long Time Rock Steady
3. Finders Keepers --- Far East
4. Take Away
5. Trying To School I --- Unchained (Gourmandizer)
6. Jah Heavy Load
7. Knot Up Time --- Declaration Of Rights
8. Jah Is I Light --- Way Down In Babylon
9. No Three Card Man

Maybe someone could add some of the missing riddims...

Typical that it turned out to be the one that I mentioned as least likely of my suggestions. Had entirely forgot Knot Up Time was on Declaration of Rights. It's a great album and I imagine that the dub LP could be very good too. Is there a way to get to hear the album KingJ?

If I could hook u up I would just dont have ability too..LP sounds somewhat similar to CHANGES DUBWISE by the diamonds, reminds me of that.
