After conference 10 + vocal-track id

Postby BMC » Fri Dec 10, 2004 9:49 pm

Just returned today from a tough 5-day conference / winterschool on theoretical chemistry. Badly needed something 'light', so strictly music tonight, got some 7's out with the nicest 10 for tonight being:

Lloyd Charmers - What Can I Do / U-Roy - Officially (XYZ)
Lloyd Charmers In The Spirit / Lloyd Charmer - Crimson & Clover (Randy's)
Winston Shand - Time Is The Master / Mudies All Stars - Version (Afro / Moodisc)
John Holt - Time Is The Master/ Version (Moodisc)
Pat Kelly - I Don't Want To Go / I Don't Want To Go (Version) (Sunshot)
Mighty Soul Rebels - Jah Jah Is No Gimmick / Mighty Soul Rebel Players - No Gimmick Version (Guiding Star)
JT All Stars - My Days Are Coming / Jah Tace Stars - Fat Beef (Ethnic Fight)
Gaylads - It's Hard To Confess / Gaylads - I Need Your Loving (High Note)
Roy Shirley - To Know / Count Ossie - If I Did Know (Afro / Moodisc)
Eternals, The - Push Me In The Corner / Mudies All Stars - Push Me In The Corner (Inst.) (Moodisc)

Question:
What is the vocal-track belonging to Jah Tace Stars - Fat Beef (Ethnic Fight), which is a deejay tune, but not related riddim-wise to the a-side?

Welcome back BMC!

Don't know the track but Youth Dellinger was aka Jah Tace All Stars, but you probably knew that already.

Nice session, Marc! Thought you had been a little "quiet" of late :), seems you have been busy with all that fun school stuff!

Cheers guys! Hope all is well with you! :D

Thanks for that info, Jackie! In fact I didn't know that. Now only finding a vocal with this tune (there are vocal snippets in the beginning so I'm quite sure it must exist). Big tune imo!
