Heard the very sad news this morning that Booj passed away in his sleep last night.

You'll know him from the tune 'Freedom dub dance' in the 90's and 'Give thanks' - Kenny Knotts from a few years ago.

He was a top man and a good friend who always had a smile on his face.
He will be greatly missed. Still in shock.

i was listening to give thanks not to long ago wondering if there was any other releases from five river records since ive never seen any. respx to the man. rip.

Absolutlely shocking news - couldn't believe it when I heard it. Booj (known as Uncle B on this board) was a brilliant producer (always thought he was an untapped talent among so many) who took his work very seriously. He should have released so much more music than he did. Top, top bloke. It was a pleasure to know him.
