cousin marshall aka papa cousins aka noel ellis aka altons son...

by the look of it its the "summer sounds" cut which also appeared in some form on Willie Williams first LP - confusingly it also appeared on a NY studio one 12" press in the early 80's...

Stine Jac / studio 1 cut has a nicer a side (with less interference from noel ellis and dodgy sound effects) but a flat dub with no vocal / echo etc. Summer sounds press has gimmicky a-side but a killer dub with much more mixed in. So you need both if you're obsessed with the tune like me! (haven't heard the basic replay one)

personally the "dodgy sound effects" are what makes this record to of my favorites since i first got it in the 80s. thats why im buying this one too even though ive probably got about 5 different copies of it.

one love
