Seem to remember the Marshall riddim was used for a bunch of 7" (Johnny Osbourne, Devon Russell, etc) on Original Sounds some five or so years ago. Maybe tweeter box was talking about those?

As far as i know, the plates that are reffered to in the 'steve' list would never have got released.

They were 'radical' dubs/mixes, not really heard those kind of mixes ever released. The batch with the J. Osbourne 7" were pretty good i thought... the mixes weren't all that exciting imo... but a tuff riddim all round.

Is there a session recording with Guidance & Protection played ?

Love this tune & riddim so would love to hear the original cut, even in rough quality !

True, but alot of tunes on that list have wrong titles or have been retitled when they were later released.

The mix i heard wasnt as tuff a mix as the dubplate shaka used to play but was still a killer vocal, easily 10 times better than the recent 7"s that were released.
