for some reason, i thought gumari had to do with Jammy's stuff(?) judging from the dubs / b sides i've heard on the label! johnny clarke, sylford walker

I've also got the "12Inch" version (with dub not Trinity and no gap but a transition between the vocal and dub that is a lot better than on many 12's) on this CD:

but then I am an internet badman.

Well I have a few with different mixes, but you have to make sure you are comparing like with like. For instance the 12" of Gregory's 'Rock On' has the killer horns but it did come out about 2 years later.

One that always puzzles me is John Holt's 'Up Park Camp' - the UK 7" issue has a totally different dub version to the JA 7" - why ??

Anthony Red Rose - Can't Knock We on a Firehouse 7" has about ten seconds of intro before the rhythm really drops.

'Can't Knock Me' on the 'Red Rose Will Make You Dance' LP pretty much drops straight into the rhythm without the extended intro found on the 7".

Wonder why Tubby decided to forgo the intro on the LP version? To keep the vibes on the LP flowing?

On the "Are we a warrior" album by I Jah Man, the song "The church" as two different intros, one with guitar the other one with keyboard, depending on the format. I Bought the original tape back in the days and the original LP later on. Not sure about the version on the CD.

Three singles on the top of my mind:

Ras Alla - Bosrah / Bosrock (Prophet/Stars)
The Wailers - Screw Face (Tuff Gong blank)
The Wailers - Concrete Jungle (Island)
