Wicked selection CC!

I've included a Chipmunks record in my set for tomorrow :D

Amazing, isn't it. You can have floorboards creaking with the volume of reggae CDs and vinyl, thinking you must be reaching saturation point. There can't be much more still to get out of about a square mile of one little island's capitol?

Then I look at a playlist like that and I've never even heard of half of the artists, let alone the tracks! I only have M.P.L.A. & CB200 from the first part.

But to get to the point CC - do you know if the last one on that top bit is a version of:

'Everyday Is Like A Holiday' by The Gaylads on Coxsone (that I have), or
'Everyday Is A Holiday' by Cornell Campbell/Big Joe (a Discomix I really need  )

and whether your Thomas/Trinity disc or either of the two different songs I have mentioned above are the same as one with a similar title by The Beltones ( :?: )

Ta (anyone else can join in by the way!)

It's a cut of "Everyday Is Like A Holiday" by The Sensations on Treasure Isle mate.

If it was recorded exactly at double speed, you could easily run it into computer and drop it to half-speed with any half-decent software.

Cheers Gordon - and yes, it must be a version of the song I want; the one that Cornell & Big Joe updated too.

I seem to have muddled mi Beltones and Sensations in the Dubac Database - must have been thinking of the 'No More Heartaches' Discomix featuring (an uncredited!) I Roy. Now that one I do have, and it's all mine :P :P :P

That's a great playlist, may BIG tunes on there, I'd love to hear a tape of one of your shows, once you've mastered the tape-deck!!
