Will "Leaving to Zion" be the mix from the Tanka 12" release?

I have them both, but I don't know for sure because when I play this tune, it's always the 12". I can check tomorrow if no one comes in before.

I seem to remember someone mentioning on here they are different.

By the way.... big respect for this release! Having the original and seeing this does not sting. I will certainly enjoy finally owning the Merva Grier!

Also while we're at it.... will "Shine Eye" be the mix from the D-Roy 12"? I assume so.

The mix on Tanka label is different, shorter but tougher
the shine eye gal is taken from the LP

EZ

Have the Shine Eye Girl on D-Roy and used to play Leaving To Zion on the Black Uhuru - Showcase LP.

Happy to see the leaving to zion has the extended version and not to miffed to see the shine eye girl repressed.

Shine eye girl is one of my favourite ever anthems and Black Uhuru is one of my all time favourite bands!!

Happy to see anything re-released from this group for the masses to enjoy.

Will be picking this one up for the leaving to zion version.

Btw how long is the extended mix of leaving to zion?? How long is the version on your release?
