Hats off to you digikiller crew, you will make alot of people happy with the clarence parks and the general too..musical manna from heaven for the masses.for me the most rewarding part of buying and selling tunes over the years has been bringing pure, undiluted joy to people by finding tracks they've been looking for. often for years or to replace lost and stolen copies.you just made that part of my job , easier to do...max rspx for that.
john holt is lovely too, feeling the lyrics strong, strong....always a pleasure to hear the elder generation known more for sentimental and romantic lyrics , come rootical( and im a sucker for a tuff relick of mr.bassie ).
for all the haters, wannnabe private eyes and talkathons who are keen to question the integrity of d.killer crew and seemingly dont know **** all about the in's and outs of the reggae business or about how jamaican /west indian people flex ...as willie williams says 'your talking loud and saying NOTHING'.

awol n out

That Clarence Parks is too dangerous. My second favourite cut to that riddim after 'Rambo'.

John Holt "Love & Understanding" - a true Shaka killer, even if it doesn't include the dubplate version Shaka used to play the vocal's still an essential piece of music. Give thanks for the works RB and nuff respect!

Sugar Minott-"Genuine Lover" is a wicked cut to this too. What's the tune "Rambo" you mention? Artist?

Excellent stuff RB.

I have a question about the I Roy cut & i don't want it to turned into or taken as a put down of the sound quality of DKR releases OK.

All right here it goes....

I Roys Virgin Front Line LP "Musical Shark Attack" which includes the track "Tribute To Marcus Garvey" was released in split stereo (i think that's the correct term) where the music comes out of one speaker & the vocal track out the other, will the DKR 7" be the same?

Thanx

no, of course not!

that album was released that way b/c Virgin didn't understand when they got the tape from JA (split) that it was supposed to be mixed into stereo! hilarious.

the JA issue of the album on CHANNEL 1 label (most copies w/ no cover) plays loud, heavy, proper stereo.

seek it out...features almost all the hardest 70s CH1 riddims. killer album, one of my all time faves.

Yes RB, keep em coming!

Personally im especially happy with the Clarence Parks-Things A Come Up To Bump, wicked tune!

Was this also cut around 84, 85 at Channel One then? As i believe the previous issue came much later..
