A year ago, I had the chance to meet the man Riddim Conference in Tokyo, Japan - He is one of the few in Japan UK Roots music supporter who decided to produce his own music and quickly started to feed sound systems with his exclusive dubplates.
One of the most popular track was the tune 'Struggle' played by Jah Shaka and later released on 7'' and 12''.
This next release on Digital Conscious is featuring this artist Riddim Conference on the mix with vocal parts from Finote and The Trinity Sisters.
Finote is very talented ex member of the group Capital Letters (late 70's) she is back here along with 2 of her female friends from Wolverhampton, The Trinity Sisters, on a uplifting tune called 'Love Rastafari'.
This track 'Love Rastafari' is a mix of genre, the sweet Roots voice of a female band on a tuff stepper riddim.
Finally, on the flip side a deep Roots instrumental one of the previously unreleased dubplate from Riddim Conference called 'Ital Missile' with great melodica mixes.

Note the Japanese Kanji used on the label artwork is pronounced "wa". It means "Peace" "Harmony" and also "Cooperation" for Japan.
This release is dedicated to Japan and the victims of the Tsunami which hit last March the North East costal part of Japan causing deaths, destructions and nuclear power plant failures.

Finote’ – Singer/writer… …a.k.a. Princess Black, began writing poems and songs at the age of fourteen. Influenced by a wide genre of artists and inspired by The Creator’ observations of life and personal experience. At the age of sixteen she joined a local band called ‘Capital Letters’ as a backing vocalist and travelled extensively throughout Europe promoting their single ‘Smoking My Ganga’ which reached no.1 in the ‘Echo’ music papers reggae chart. Personal tragedy at the age of twenty-four left her widowed with three children aged under five. Somehow, she continued to work, study and still find time to organise community and charity events promoting local talent, produce and host various music radio programmes, liaise with local organisations and a sound system to organise anti-drug music workshops in schools….amongst other things. Once described as ….a beautiful flower, sown and lovingly nurtured by mother nature, blooming with love in abundance, tested and strengthened by life’s stormiest skies. Constantly rejuvenating, cultivating and sharing the riches and rewards of positive vibration through music and faith….
