Ahead of the 6-track vinyl release on 17.11.17 here's a 2 hour mix of mainly different eras of Jamaican Jazz as well as other international inspirations for our Aketi Ray jazz-dub material, hosted here on The Jazz Meet podcast.
The mix includes sneak preview of some of our Aketi Ray numbers.

Mixcloud mix link is here

Excellent mix, Mikus. Had me riveted from start to finish. In fact I didn't get up or take off my headphones during the whole set. I was lucky enough to catch the Arkestra in action in London a couple of weeks ago and the vibes on your mix took me back to a great night.
There's a few artists on there I'd like to explore further, including Aketi Ray. All the best with the project.

Really appreciate it, thanks Reggie. Never had the pleasure of catching the Arkestra - will try in 2018.
