Bass Culture - Old Brooms & New Brooms

Postby Mick Sleeper » Sun May 12, 2013 1:37 am

I've noticed a recent trend in reggae: veteran artists who are still giving us fresh and interesting music, and also newer artists and producers who are doing the same, but with an old school vibe. A nice selection of tunes which clearly illustrate that the new brooms are sweeping clean, and the old brooms still know all the corners!

Music Addict - U Roy
We Dem A Watch - Glen Brown
Black Shadow - Prince Jazzbo
Mek It Burn - Horace Andy
Traffic Jam - Big Youth
I Can't See (Custom Discomix) - Winston Francis & Dennis Alcapone
Christopher Columbus - Little Roy
World Upside Down - Jimmy Cliff
Pass It To You - Stevie & The Breadwinners
Melt Away - Max Romeo & Jallanzo
Don't Stop The Music - Easy Star All Stars
Can't Plant Corn - Kevin Isaacs
Spiritual Step - Addis Pablo
Shabby Attack - Sly & Robbie
Without music, life is an error. (Nietzsche)
