-- WCTD White Squall Send Off Selection 2012 (Over 3 hours)

Postby Jayman65 » Wed Jul 18, 2012 6:27 pm

I have just posted a selection I put together for our good friend Daddy Squall..... Runs for over 3 hours inna continuous mix style.
I chose the selection to run in three stages,
Section 1 is deep, contemplative music to meditate on....
Section 2 is some good old Dancehall style that I know was deeply embedded in Him....
Section 3 we move on to some revival style (very well could be a part 2 to this as there were so many tunes that I wanted to include!)

As you know I have been having some problems recently and I have been finding it hard to listen properly to music, but thanks to Howard 'Daddy Squall' I have been inspired to appreciate the power of music again!
I listened to tunes almost round the clock after I got the news of his passing which lead up to this selection that I think he would be happy to hear on his journey home.....

We are in touch with his spar Cush at the moment and will be continuing the White Squall soundtape pressure as soon as the first shipment of tapes arrive.... There are apparently some very special ones indeed to come!!
For now though, I invite you to download this selection, have a bit of what you prefer and for three hours meditate on and celebrate the lives of not only White Squall, but anyone else you have lost that loved this music......

P.S.. The picture below was taken by Howard at a dance in Jamaica featuring Inner City. There are two tape decks lined into the set bottom left of the photo, the top one is Squall's which he used to record so many great sessions.... I of course photo-shopped him into the picture yesterday :-)
