Hip Hop song that samples Aswad's "Warrior Charge"

Postby vasceri » Wed Dec 29, 2004 8:39 pm

Does anyone know of a track in the 90s that used a sample from Aswad's "Warrior Charge" throughout.

I seem to remember the chorus was somethink along "What we need right now is a revolution"

If anyone knows, I'd be really grateful, the song title and artist have escaped me since I first heard it.

Thanks much!!

You need this album Eric:

Had it myself back in the days but it went on EBay to raise funds for more reggae stuff like a lot of my hip hop.

the track is called 'Warrior Re-Charge' by Aswad.

it's on there Too Wicked EP and also there Firesticks compilation album, both released by Island/Mango back in 90's.

hope this helps.

That's the one Glenn, the cut Eric refers to is on the Ragga Hip Hop album on Mango that the link gives the details for.
