Tune ID.....help.....

Postby JM » Tue Dec 28, 2004 7:49 pm

Greetings...

Im lookin for a roots tune wich was play at a Aba shanti i session....it s a pure roots and culture tune...maybe from the 70's....
with a intro with horns...and then the singer say..."What a day what a day....when Jah shall come to ?pay? ....what a day when jah shall come.....what a daaaaaayyyyy.....what a day" ????.........one man 's black one man's white "

does that make you think of something? is the tune called simply "what a day"?

thanks a lot by advance.......... ;)

jah love.....

I listen to the 7", and it's a digital version compare to the original.......same lyrics but not the same riddim version....

is the 12" the roots tune and the 7" the digital one???

damn i was so happy to catch the 7"

The label says 9S 9S or gs gs. Don´t think it´s a digital version though.

C.Manning - What a Day (ISIS Records 7") from 1998 (although production sounds early 90s)

yes I think the 7" label is " JSJS"......not sure.....but it sounds really early 90's and not like the roots tune with the horn intro i heard first.......
