Michael Rose first recording

Postby Ringo » Fri Dec 24, 2004 6:41 pm

Interviewed in Mandingo magazine, Rose says his first recording was in 1970 at Newton Simmons home studio in Waterhouse, a DJ cut to "Woman A Genal" by Andell Forgie & Bolivar, released on Simmons' SRS label.
RKR doesn't mention Rose on the label, but the version side to "Woman A Genal" is a DJ piece called "Genal Version" credited to Tony. Just gave it a listen, and it doesn't sound a lot like Rose, but his middle name is Anthony and he would have been about 13.
Anyone know if this is him?
