The Jools Holland show from earlier this year that featured the aforementioned singers is being repeated tonight at 1am for those who missed it first time round or indeed for those who want to see it a 2nd time!

a short review based on the video tape i received (and forwarded on to linval):

jr murvin a bit boring (though with only one song how can it be THAT boring?), johnny clarkes song is nice (african roots from memory) and linval steals the reggae segment(s) of the show with (again from memory) dont cut off your dreadlocks. but the real highlight for me was morrissey or whatever that cats name is, he came across real well i thought. the balance of the show, about 30 minutes or so, is very forgettable, bunch of folks i guess the UKers would recognize but i wasnt very impressed.

one love
