Congos - Live At Maritime Hall

Postby skunkride » Mon Dec 20, 2004 12:30 am

Just listening to the Congos "Live At Maritime Hall" set - excellent live set with great great performance from vocalists & musicians alike. Quite amazing to listen to tracks from "heart of the congos" being performed live around 20 years after they been recorded and still sounding fresh & exciting ! Really great show & excellent sound quality & mix. Recommended to all Congos fans.

Highly irritating stuff, Ill second jahboo on that...Never could make more than 2-3 tracks in a row.

Yes, excellent sound quality...unfortunatelly.

i went to that show and it was even more dire in person than on record...somehow they made it sound better than it actually was. and thats still not very good imo.

ps: maritime hall by and large sucked. some good talent, a really cool historic building, but the sound was crap most of the time and the management, well lets just say they were far from the audiences best friend.

one love
