Important information about registering for Blood and Fire!

Postby steve » Tue Nov 30, 2004 12:34 pm

Hello again,

It would seem a few people have registered and not provided an accurate email address in the registration process.

In order to register for the board you *must* provide a vaild email address, this is because an email is sent to you with a validation link you must click on to activate your account.

Unless you put in a vaild email address you will never recieve this link and will never be able to activate your account.

If anyone is still having trouble after they put in a valid email address, contact us via the contact form and we will help you as soon as possible

hope this helps
Steve

Speaking from experience, it's also a good idea to take steps to make sure that your spam filter won't weed out the registration confirmation/account activation email.

That's true. My mailbox (Yahoo) filtered the B&F registration e-mail to the "spam" category, so I had to look for it there.
