That's it - I'm lost [chaka chaka chaka chaka]

After hearing samples of this new riddim from JA called Chaka Chaka I commented on it that I wondered where it would end in a kinda negative way. For some reason I kept on going back to listen to the samples and started to actually like it :? :? :? . This ended up in actually ordering a bunch of the singles which arrived today and I'm afraid I have to admit: I like it a lot! Not from a reggae point of view, but it's just a funny set of tunes on a crazy little party-riddim. If I even dig this I guess I can officially say: I'm lost :!: :!: Image

Now I have to do is learn to dance the Chaka Chaka and the Sesame Street and I can safely join an Elephant Man performance! Image Image

Some love
You know it brings me down down down
Some love
You know it brings me down down down

They say that love is heaven sent
Well I guess they told another lie
How can it be a part of me
You can't even look me in my eye

All this time you made a fool of me
You told honey sweet lies
I'm fed up with your alibis
I was blind, now I see, yeah

Let's end this game, let's stop this farce
'Cause I don't wanna live a lie
Life's so short, and love's so sparse
I guess I'll have to say goodbye
It brings me down down down, yeah
Some love, it brings me down down down

If this is love, I want no part of it
They call this love
Now I've got to quit you, baby
If this is love, I want no part of it
They call this love, dirty dirty love
Some love

If this is love don't break my heart
If this is love don't want no part
If this is love don't break my heart
If this is love don't want no part
If this is love don't break my heart
If this is love don't want no part
If this is love don't break my heart

Some love
Oh first you burn me with desire
Then you go and douse the fire

No Ras Berry, Ele's lyrics are much more intellectual than that.

For instance on his Chaka Chaka Dance on the Chaka Chaka riddim:

Dance to the riddim: Chaka Chaka
Everybody feel the dance Chaka chaka
Everybody do the dance Chaka chaka
Chaka chaka chaka chaka chaka chaka
Man and woman fi a do di Chaka Chaka

Or on the same riddim's Who Nuh Like When We Talk:

Who nuh like when we talk, suck you mother
fop it off, nuh go laugh, suck you mother
suck you mother, suck you mother, suck you mother
nah go beg fassy nuthin', suck you mother

And he has another tune on the riddim called Rise Dem Up, with just as intelligent lyrics!
