A couple of 45s from General Tress that are worth checking:

Heart, Mind & Soul LP, Black Scorpio, 1985
Peanut Man/Version, Black Scorpio, 1996
Horseman Style/Version, Jammy’s, 1985
(with Ninja Man), Things A Gwan/Firehouse Crew, Version,
Exterminator, 1990

Nice one Peter. Kingstonian Man will be the first General Trees LP, so if I like it I'll know what else to look for

I would start with Negril. The title track and "Mini Bus" are two of his best.
