Gwan India - New doc on Indian Sound System

Postby adrians wall » Wed May 24, 2017 6:04 am

Excellent film put together by Al Jazeera of all people about Bass Foundation Roots, the growth of their Sound System and their fight protesting against the oppressive system that is being instilled in India at the moment.

Well worth a watch. Big ups to BFR Sound, real revolutionary.

Very interesting, thanks ! Definitely more vibes than that para-military lazy skanking i last saw at one of those boring sound systems of now who like to consider themselves as "militant".
Some of you might be interested to learn that this Indian soundman is also a singer/toaster in Ska Vengers, a pretty cool fusion/modern ska act from New Delhi. They played England last year.
